So we are home from our week long vacation to...yes... you guessed it, Vegas, Utah and Idaho.
BEWARE TONS OF PICTURES!!!!!!!!
The Vacation was really meant for the Cogdill Family reunion in Lava Hot Springs Idaho, but with me being 6 months pregnant and riding around with a 2 year old, we had to split up the trip.
We spent one night in Vegas and Kinz was SO excited because we opted to stay in the "CASTLE" Excalibur! It was AMAZING! we went EL CHEAPO on our room and spent a whole $35 bucks for one night...BUT they upgraded us to a SUITE once we arrived! Jake and I were living in HIGH style! We felt SO rich! We took full advantage of the 2 flat screen TV's.....
HUGE tub and of course robes and slippers...and just to be cool I ordered a HOT FUDGE sundae from room service :)

AND have you been over the HOOVER DAMN!? Holy huge creepy bridge they are building BATMAN!

Then off to Utah for one night to hang out with the Service family! Staying with Steve and Sage at there house is always a blast because when we go there it isn't just our family visiting usually we like to travel in LARGE packs...haha So Tres and Roseanne and the WHOLE clan came along too. I think there were 11 children and 9 adults, not to mention 2 dogs one cat 4 chickens and 2 rabbits! Good thing Sage and Steve let us crash their house, and good thing they have an enormous house to accommodate us! :)

then.... Thursday Morning we headed up to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho, about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Sandy Utah. We camped there from Thursday until Sunday, about froze our BOOTIES off at night, and sweat during the days when it wasn't rolling thunder storms directly over our heads!

But the whole Cogdill/Service/Butler/Wilkinson/Cosper/Espejo/Blackburns/Larsen....OH AND SO MANY more families were all there, in all I think it was well over 75 people and children in our family! My grandparents (the ones who started it all have over 30 grandchildren, and even MORE great grandchildren! Who all came together and had a blast! Food was great, weather...not so much, but the company was awesome. We fished.......
and ran around and chased kids, and even played at a water park in the nearby town (where by the way we were able to take showers :) it was a GOOD TIME!

THIS PICTURE NEEDS A CAPTION!!! The first hour or two into setting up camp, Grant decided to POOP behind the TENT! haha Roseanne found him, and from the look on her face you can see she isn't amused! Ahhh Kids will be kids!
So back to Utah where we were able to visit Jakes family who live in LEHI, and then Monday the LONNNNNG drive back to Gilbert, AZ. It was a lot of driving, but we loved it had a great time, and now we are POOPED and have a TON of laundry to get done! We're happy to be home, but wish it didn't end so soon....Mid september though begins my maternity LEAVE for 3 1/2 months! I am SO excited! :)
Hope everyone is having a GREAT SUMMER!
