I better post thanksgiving before the New Year comes around! Holy Moly is time FLYING!
Jake's family spent Thanksgiving with us on Wednesday because Jake had to work Thanksgiving day. It was a wonderful dinner!
Jake cooked everything and WOW his turkey was delish! The only hiccup he had was he turned the oven on broiler for a few minutes to "brown" the marshmallows on the sweet potatoes...lets just say they came out BLACK...but easy fix, scrapped off the marshmallows and put new ones on :)
Post Thxgivn meal we played on the Wii...
and had left overs about 3 more times that day...it was awesome. I just killed the last bit of turkey off today with our last roll and made myself a delish sandwich MmMMmm.
We also made apple turkeys with McKenzie, it was VERY cute, she loved it. I'd never done them before either, so jake was learning us.

When Jake got home on Friday I went SHOPPING! yeehaw! So fun, I don't fight crowds though, I never go for BIG dollar items, I just go for a few things at easy stores. So this year I did Jake and my Christmas shopping...I got him a 6 foot ladder...and me a fire pit! LOVE IT! I also ventured to Kohls (bad idea) and waited for and hour half in line...ugh. I had to buy Jammie's because on December 7th we are doing the Polar Express ride in Williams AZ! And the rules are you HAVE to wear PJ's...so with the great sales and a $10 off coupon I got all four of us jammies and slippers for under $40 bucks! And got Brady his first stocking! When they rang it up at the register and I was about to leave she said.."You saved $105 dollars!" jeeze! So yes Black Friday is worth it to me! I left the house at 730am, and was home by Noon.
I bought my fire pit and the ladder at Lowes, and also bought Christmas lights for our house since this is our first time decorating it! So we spent most of the afternoon putting the lights up.....
...and our tree.
Jake bought me the CUTEST topper for our tree! and of COURSE McKenzie was in LOVE! It's TINKERBELL!

I LOVE decorating! So our house is festive, and smells of pumpkin spice thanks to Gold Canyon candles :) Can't WAIT for Santa to visit!
* oh yea...there was a really lame santa at Walmart one day when we were there, I thought for sure Kinz would be ruined for life with his fake beard and black hair sticking out his wig...
but NOPE she was SOOOO friggen excited! They took her picture with him and she talked to him forever...she hasn't stopped talking about it since, awe, to be 3 again. It will be nice to see a REAL looking Santa on the Polar Express and get a picture with her and Brady :)
And I have to post a few Cutie pictures of Mr. Brady, he is SO smiley! He sleeps 8 hours through the night 9pm-5am, wakes up eats a bottle gets his diaper changed goes back to sleep til 8! It's fantastic I knew this day would come! he is such a happy and easy baby, and WE love having him around.

Cool tree topper! That is so nice that Jake cooked! Wow! I am impressed. I too try to avoid Kohls on Black Friday because of the lines. They are SOOOO bad.
OH my gosh!! That food looks SOOOOO good!!!
I walked into Kohls Black Friday, Saw the line, and walked out. I think our Kohls had a 3 hour line.
And I'm IN LOOOVE with your tree topper
I feel your pain- I have waited in those Kohl's lines many many times... but it's so worth it! Wow, congrats to Jake for making Thanksgiving! Your house/tree look amazing. LOVE the Tinker Bell topper!
