Jake went back to work today, and without him here there is no way I can battle two children at church while I am suppose to be on moderate bed rest. This has been a big challange for me, and McKenzie is really noticing. She told me the other day that she misses primary :(
SO this morning after I laid Brady down for a nap, I dressed McKenzie in her new favorite church dress that she got for Christmas and her and I read the scriptures, sang Primary songs, and drew a picture of Jesus. I have to say it was a very wonderful and peaceful morning at our house! I recommend this to anyone with kids, or anyone who is sick who can't make it to church. although we didn't get to go for 3 hours, take the sacrament, and enjoy the company of our friends at church we were able to feel the spirit and share some special time together :)

Is Kenzie old enough that you can have a friend pick her up and take her to church and then bring her home when it's over?
