It is possible that blogging has become a thing I don't love doing much anymore. I would MUCH rather read up on everyone elses lives...until I remember how I don't journal, I haven't scrap booked in forever, and my pictures never get printed, they stay digital forever. SO..blogging is probably the one thing that will keep me linked to my past and things I want to remember with the least amount of effort, time. money, and creativity (which I lack)

To start things off, APRIL FOOLS! also known as my Anniversary! 7 years ago I married my sweetie, we didn't make a big deal of it this year with our Baby girl turning ONE, and a surgery fast approaching. We did manage a fancy dinner together with no children, and my hubby brought me some gorgeous flowers home.

April 4th My baby Kaitlyn turned ONE!! We did have a wonderful party for her the weekend before, full of friends and family. I can't believe how FAST this year has gone...
Lastly...for those wondering minds..I then had surgery. I needed a few tummy fixes, a hernia, some things I will leave unnamed lasered off...and some muscle repair. After three pregnancies my belly stretched to it's capacity, and my rectus abdominous muscles no longer held my stomach and guts in like they should, so I opted to have them fixed. This surgery was basically known as a abdominoplasty or "tummy tuck"( along with the hernia and other things). After 9 months of handwork running, exercising, and eating right to lose any and all baby weight and to tone up to see what my body was capable of achieving I then opted for the surgery. Call me vain, call me self centered I don't care. I did it for heath, and comfort, but yes I also did it for image. Think differently? stop reading my blog.
I am currently 4 days post op, and to be honest I feel lousy. I can't lift or hold my children, and walking is a huge burden. I walk like a 90 year old woman with a humpback, and I am sore in every region of my body. At this point in my recovery, I can't decide if I I had the choice to do it all over again would I, I want to say yes, but I it hurts pretty dang bad, and the road to recovery is LONG...But after visiting my surgeon, and seeing my results, I already know I did what is best for me. I had thought of starting a blog dedicated just to my surgery like so many people do, but decided against it. I didn't want to risk hearing any negative feedback or comments, especially when the decision is already made and surgery complete. I would rather not deal with any negativity. I will keep my blog semi-up to date with my recovery, so read back if you are interested :) (I'll post before and after pictures later....)

Happy Anniversary! And Happy Bday to cute Kaitlyn. She's so beautiful. I absolutely LOVE your family photo by the way. The colors are so vibrant and you all look so great. I hope you feel better soon. Our bodies are amazing and I hope healing happens fast so you can feel 100% again!
I think you are brave! I don't think some people get how important it is to feel comfortable with yourself. Did your insurance cover it due to the hernia? I hope you feel better soon!
Happy anniversary!!!!!!! And happy birthday to your cutie pie! Hope you heal fast =)
Holly, you make BEAUTIFUL babies! I hope you're feeling better. I know that post was a month ago. Anyone who judges you for that surgery obviously has never been pregnant and had their body ripped apart. I am so interested in hearing about recovery and everything, so please post again soon!
