SO this has been quite the week!
It all started on August 7th, Mom and Dad closed on their new house, and Jake started his "birthday camping trip" Jake had a great time with his friends, said it rained everyday around 2:30pm, and they ate lots of good food he cooked, and caught NO fish....but fished every
day...oh well.
McKenzie spent the weekend with Grammy and Zadie Drossman, so Jake could camp and I could work...nice deal..yeah right.
Jake came home Sunday morning and we did SO much that day. Monday was Jake's birthday, and Jake say it was the BUSIEST birthday he ever had...
The pictures we took (post below) Marriott photography was scheduled for that evening, so we had to get all perty! Jake McKenzie and I all went to Fantastic Sams where Roxxi works, and got our hairs did! jake got a cut, and McKenzie got her very first hair cut!!!!
I had my hair cut and colored too! Then I went over to the nail place and McKenzie and I had our fingers polished :)
Kohls was our next stop for clothes shopping, we bought all new outfits for our photo opt that evening. My friend Mandi met us at the photo shoot to help wrangle Mckenzie so we could take couple pics, and then she took Mckenzie home with her that eve to swim while jake and I had birthday dinner at Macayos, where they gave us flataus (sp?)
Every day after work, for me and every day off for Jake we have been slowly moving over to the new house...have I mentioned i HATE moving?
So today Jake and tres and Dad moved all the rest of the BIG stuff while I worked... after I got off of work Jake and finished the last little bit of stuff from the townhouse, and came to the new house to a pool party! Mom had put together a pool party/BBQ for Jake and my Birthday! took lots of pictures and every one went swimming!
Mom hasn't been swimming in over 10 years she says! WOW! we had lots of fun and lots of food, and McKenzie even went to sleep tonight in her
NEW bed, in her NEW room.
How exciting. Jake and I are POOPED and still have a few things at the other house a long with DEEP cleaning....bummer.
THE BEST NEWS of all! The realtor called us this evening and there is an offer in the BANK on OUR HOUSE!!!!! YAY! pray it all works out! until next time hope you all have a great weekend!! :)

So did you guys move into a house?? With a pool?? I am totally jealous! Where is it? Oh by the way, in the post below I absolutely LOVE your yellow shoes!!! I am little bit addicted when it come to shoes and I think I need to have a pair like that. I don't think I have worn yellow in my entire life but for those shoes I would start! Where did you get them?

Thanks for posting the picts! You do such a good job! I notice there are so many family event that I'm not pictured in because I'm the one behind the lense! I LOVE how you did Mckenzies new room with the tinkerbell! You are awesome at doing that!
