I currently work as a senior teller for Bank of America....

This Job below I have wanted to promote to within the bank for over a year now, and yesterday it was OFFERED TO ME~!!!!!!!!!!!! and at my current banking center!!! ( the day after my birthday! happy bday to me!)

Description

Teller Operations Specialist are primarily responsible for driving day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring compliance requirements are met, managing the banking center's non credit losses and coaching teller associates to high performance levels. Report into the assistant manager. Coach and train the teller team to process transactions accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist both teller associates by using in-depth policy and procedure knowledge to handle more complex transactions and issues. Ensure day-to-day operational excellence in the banking center and maintain the highest level of customer service standards. Ensure banking center compliance with federal regulations including, but not limited to, USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act. Create a positive team environment in the banking center by modeling appropriate behaviors and providing 360-degree coaching to tellers. Coordinate tellers to ensure high quality customer service. Provide input to Assistant Banking Center Manager on teller recruiting and performance. May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical.Responsibilities:- Work closely with the AM to continually improve banking center performance by driving overall day-to-day operational excellence (including compliance requirements) and enhancing associate proficiency - Delight customers and exceed satisfaction goals- Create workforce stability by cultivating an engaged, spirited and well-coached team- Provide tellers with subject matter expertise on complex transactions and issues- Train and coach tellers on key accountabilities and tasks- Identify customer needs and refer the appropriate products and services- Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust, based on established policies and procedures

Qualifications
Required Skills: Minimum of six months cash handling experience, customer service experience, as well as a minimum of six months leadership experience within the past three years; Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, answer inquiries and provide information to customers, perform written and verbal communications, and use a 10-key adding machine or keyboard; Must also be able to mentor and coach, as well as train, direct and motivate staff, and plan and direct daily operations.
Desired Skills: Previous cross-sales/referral experience and ability to identify clients’ financial goals and objectives; Previous banking/financial services/teller experience as well as work in customer relations/sales field; Previous supervisory/management experience; Ability to manage retail operations, as well as plan goals, schedules and objectives, and conduct audits; Bilingual (fluent verbal and written) skills.



I have to revamp my resume ETC, and do a interview with the higher up people, but I've basically been given the job, they just want to talk with me so they know I can do it! HOW EXCITING! YEAH! be happy with me! I love my job now, and I will Love this one even more!!!!
