"I like photo radar. I think it's a nice way to get a speeding ticket.
No police officer pulls you over, lights flashing and asks, "Ma'am, do you know how fast you were driving" (Of course I know how fast I was driving. I'm hoping he doesn't know how fast I was driving.)
The the nice officer takes your license, proof of insurance and his own sweet time back to his squad car. Seriously, could he hurry? I'm speeding because I'm late.
With photo radar, you're racing along when - flash! - you've got a ticket. You don't even have to slow down, let alone pull to the side of the road.
In a few days, your citation is mailed right to your house. It tells you how fast you were going, when and where, and even includes a photograph of you breaking the law. Now that's what I call service."
The State of AZ has 120 days from the time you received your mailed ticket to "Serve" you at your house if you don't respond to the 1st attempt.
Jake has 13 days left when a nice guy walked into our garage where Jake was wood working and says "Are you jake Butler?" To Jake's reply..."no"....man: "Are you sure?" Jake: "yes im Jake."......And handed him his speeding ticket.... BLAST!

Ironically our State refund this year is..you guessed it $200....
The speed cameras are said to not flash until you are 11 miles over the legal limit...Yep they were right. jake was going 76 on the 202 (speed 65mph)

i have had only one speeding ticket, and i was 35 when it happened. i was so sick about it.

I know right? Doesn't he do ENOUGH for this state risking his life...haha and taking a 3% pay cut to pay stupid debt to the state! It's no wonder they are coming after speed camera people! to make some much needed money!
haha, that happened to Matthew except it was a red light camera. Anyways we paid it because he didn't have time to go to school. But when you pay those red light tickets your pleading guilty and you still have to go to school, or they suspend your license. So we ended up paying like 400 for school and the ticket. What trickery!
DOH! I really hate those things.... too bad Jake didn't get a way with it =( Dang it!
