SAY WHAT!?

Cliche, I know, but really? Where on EARTH has this year gone!? I cannot believe it is December 1st!!

My Dad always used to tell me that time just goes faster and faster the older you get. I guess he was right!

I'm starting to fear that the time is going by SO fast that I won't remember the fun and exciting things happening!!!

SO since this is my "journal" or the closest thing to, I decided I better start making posts as often as possible of funny things my children say/do, and fun things we do!

To start this month off I have to write about my silly 5 year old McKenzie.

We took a trip to walmart to pick up some garland, and in the garden center they have a "Santa" that you can sit with and get a candy cane. He was a nice Santa but, SO fake looking...haha but still magical to my children

We left the garden center and walked around a bit, and McKenzie says to her brother...
"That isn't the real Santa Brady, the real Santa is at the Mall"

I was laughing pretty hard! WHY isn't the "real" Santa in the North POLE!? it is true though, the Mall Santa looks very real!!

my kids are growing WAY to fast!

McKenzie is 5, top of her kindergarten class, and stinkin SMART! She's also an amazing little dancer, and tumbler! She is SO tall and skinny too!
She also has quite the little... ok HUGE attitude...she'll be a fun teenager.

Brady, is also my skinny lil man! He is 2 years and 3 months old, and just 24 lbs! He has started chatting up a storm these last few months, and cracking us up. Here are a few of our favorites...

I could go on and on...he's so funny

Then lil Miss Baby K
She is a mobile little thing! She has been crawling for over 2 months now,pulling herself up, cruising furniture and only just turning 8 months in a few days! and she weighs about 18 lbs...

She has a GREAT personality, and is VERY happy. She sleeps a lot, and rarely cries. She is also tall, but is my only baby who has had chunky thighs, and she has these cheeks like a squirrel storing up for the winter! SO KISSABLE!!

she ALSO loves to crawl to our Christmas tree and yank down any and all ornaments she can reach, then feeds them to our dog...fantastic. We have moved all dollar store ornaments to her reaching level.

Speaking of our dog, baby Kaitlyn and our dog Shelby are buds. Shelby LOVES her and is very gentle. Shelby was born July 24th, and came to our home on September 23rd. She is 4.5 months old, and weighs 32 lbs! Going to be one HUGE puppy. But she is a a pure bred German Shepherd, and SOOO smart. We also start puppy obedience school this month. We don't want to risk having her with any bad habits, especially being such a large dog that people may fear.

Shelby wrestles with Brady and he laughs SO much. Very entertaining.

Anyway, Happy Holidays everyone, I will NOT be sending out Christmas cards this year, they are EXPENSIVE! & I don't have great pictures of us all, nor the time. So know I love you and hope you have a wonderful Holiday season!
